Overview

WikiFPS transforms any Wikipedia page into a level of a classic FPS game. Levels are procedurally generated based off different factors, including paragraph count and length. Each image is transformed into one of several enemy types.

How to Play

Eliminate the level's boss to unlock the vault door, then pass through it to choose an upgrade and move on to the next level. Beat all 6,970,000+ levels to win!

Move with the WASD keys, left click to fire, switch weapons with Q and E, and reload with R. Press escape to pause. NOTE: In the pause menu, you can generate a direct link to your current level to share.

WikiFPS was created by Boondoggle, an NYC based creative lab making internet toys, tools and ephemera.

WikiFPS is not in any way affiliated with Wikipedia, Wikimedia Foundation or those other little Wiki services I always forget about (they have a travel one???). All text, images, music and sound effects are taken from Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons—it turns out a lock closing makes a decent gun reloading sound. If you don't like the skybox, upload a new one to Wikipedia. Also throw them some money, they're always asking for it.
